2025By the Sea Beautiful Distress Amsterdam , Netherlands The abundance of water in the sea starkly contrasts the increasing drinking water shortages worldwide. Acquiring drinking water from the sea is a method that, from this abundance, can offer a solution for scarcity. However, it also brings up critical questions about how we collaborate with the sea in our efforts to overcome water scarcity, without repeating the dominant logics of exploitation of habitats. The exhibition explored new ways of relating to (sea)water, using artistic imagination to reflect on the relationship between human and non-human entities through water. Niños de mi Arena Pinamar, Argentina This art project is a collective proposal for the creation of a work in the public space of Pinamar, my hometown. "Children of My Sand" proposes a collective development through an event on the beach with volunteer children. The children will build a series of sandcastles, which will then be 3D scanned and transformed into a digital file. The digital models will then be analyzed, scaled, and arranged in a spatial composition, as shown in the images, before being sent to be 3D printed in sand, becoming solid and permanent. The printed sculptures are unique and ingenuous pieces that emerge from the water, questioning time and decay. The project seeks to highlight the simple and profound beauty of childhood, dreams, and the local community.

Met Zout het Pijn, Met Zout Geneest het KABK Salar del Rincón, Argentina graduation.kabk.nl/2025/magdalena-salinas With Salt it Hurts, With Salt it Heals is a two-part spatial research and design project. With Salt It Hurts is a research that reveals the hidden stories of Argentinian Puna, part of the Lithium Triangle and how this industry directly impacts on human and non human life. It examines salt, the abundant yet overlooked byproduct of lithium extraction, as both material and metaphor. Through this lens, it questions the environmental paradoxes embedded within the so-called "green energy" transition. The project is a multilayered piece that blends spatial instalation, research publication and a video essay.

Huis van Zout The Hage, Netherlands A House of Salt is an evocative exploration about architecture’s relationship with time, decay, and mortality. This concept delves into the impermanence of built structures considering erosion as part of design. Through a series of 9 salt eroded sculptures, a publication and a videoessay, the project becomes a poignant critique on how hour houses could accompany us in our own journey towards death.

Moving Moerwijk The Hague, Netherlands Set in Moerwijk, a neighborhood in The Hague often overshadowed by negative labels, this project invites the audience to slow down, listen, and experience the tapestry of voices that make up this diverse area. Through a 10-minute sound journey, the installation captures the stories and thoughts of Moerwijk’s residents, blending them into a final musical piece promoted as the only single of Moving Moerwijk "record label."
