You are always connected to something through something. There is always something that conducts between people. You are always loosely connected to something. Your existence delivers something to someone somewhere like a flowing cloud. Influenced by the winds of others, you reach far and wide, changing your shape.

The painting narrates the tale of a formless, anonymous character who, under the guidance of a monstrous figure, discovers the profound concept of freedom. Initially unaware of its beauty, the character begins to embrace this newfound liberation. However, as the journey unfolds, the character also becomes aware of the contrasting notion of captivity, highlighting the complexities and dualities that coexist within the experience of freedom.

Pole partitions create boundaries to protect something, symbolizing that what lies within is precious enough to merit preservation. But if a random object is enclosed by these partitions, does it elevate the value of the object, or does the pole partition merely stand there looking incongruous, as if guarding something insignificant?

"Farewell Somewhere" is a poignant exploration of ephemeral memory, capturing the bittersweet essence of a nostalgic place that is gradually fading from view. Through a delicate interplay of color and texture, the painting evokes a sense of longing and transient beauty, inviting viewers to reflect on the fleeting nature of cherished memories. This installation tells a poignant story of a robot journeying through a desolate, post-apocalyptic world devoid of nature, programmed to seek out a flower as a tribute for the grave of the last humans. Within the stark, barren landscape, the robot navigates through remnants of a forgotten civilization, embodying hope and determination. In its relentless quest, the robot ultimately discovers a flower, a moment of triumph that is tragically undercut by the realization that it is an artificial creation, devoid of life. This work explores themes of longing, loss, and the quest for meaning in a world stripped of its natural beauty, inviting viewers to reflect on the fragile relationship between technology and humanity.

Is our body a cage of our heart or soul? Maybe yes, the body, our soul/heart and personalities deeply relate to each others, because we think with our brain and parts of your personalities depend on our DNA. If I didn’t know about these facts maybe I would have not felt like I am trapped in my body. What traps me inside my body is the knowledge or the story I heard , so perhaps if I didn’t have a complex thoughts I could have felt freer.

Laten we ons nu afvragen of wij, het menselijk ras, de juiste stappen hebben gezet? Er is geen antwoord, dus het is zinloos om erover na te denken, maar we kunnen wel pessimistisch zijn over de huidige situatie. Men denkt dat de wereld zo'n vriendelijke plek is geworden dat we kunnen leven zonder ons te kunnen aanpassen dankzij de ontwikkeling van de maatschappij, maar is het echt goed om te blijven leven zonder je te kunnen aanpassen? Het is goed noch slecht. Het enige verschil is misschien dat het lijden een beetje ingewikkelder is geworden. Het heeft geen zin om zo te denken.

This work is a installation with two aquarium, one on the floor is a functional aquarium and the one on a stool is a unfunctional aquarium leaking the water into the perfect aquarium on the floor. Aquarium without water isn't functioning as an aquarium. Once the water from the imperfect aquarium fills the one on the floor, perfection will be achieved.
