Flows-rond: Reimagining Urban Water Relations Buurtwerkplaats Noordenhof Amsterdam, Netherlands Based at Buurtwerkplaats Noorderhof, this project explores the hidden water infrastructures of Sloterplas through participatory research and events. Introducing Kaumera, a biopolymer made from wastewater, it brings local communities into conversation with the flows beneath the city. The project focuses on the often unseen water infrastructure around the neighbourhood of Sloterplas—water systems, the human impact, and how it all connects to the landscape around us. The project is funded by a Horizon Europe project called VOICE (https://www.voice- community.eu/). Through artist-led interventions (ATSIs), VOICE encourages citizen engagement to tackle local and regional environmental challenges effectively.
