In the Kunstruimte at Willem Twee, The Hybrid Entity unfolds as a landscape in which Wessel Verrijt liberates sculpture from its static role. His work occupies the space in a way that invites visitors to walk around, observe, return, and continually discover new perspectives. Between the sculptures, video works appear in various locations, sometimes immediately visible, sometimes hidden within the layers of the installation. This play of revelation and concealment simultaneously marks the opening of this year's theme, What Lies Beneath, which will be the main theme for all exhibitions at Willem Twee until next year.

2025Positions: Gut Feeling Stroom The Hague The Hague, Netherlands Curator: Travis Geertruida Four artists – Lakisha Apostel, Elvis Chen, Filipp Groubnov, and Wessel Verrijt – transform the space of Stroom Den Haag into a theatrical stage. To the classical eye, the exhibition may seem like a random arrangement of objects, but closer inspection reveals a deliberate artistic method. Each installation in Positions: Gut Feeling embodies a different world, different ideas, and various ways of working. These artworks are placed in such a way that they contrast with one another, as an exercise in the art of sideways observation. It raises many questions. Are there hidden connections? How do we experience reality? How does it feel in our body? Can we trust our body? Do our thoughts deceive us? What is your gut feeling? Positions: Gut Feeling invites the viewer to enter these different worlds and read between the lines, looking sideways and upwards. Pay attention to the interplay between wet clay and electrical wires, weathered wood and screens full of static, rusted steel and polished aluminum, torn paper and second-hand fabrics. The artists' play may seem random, but it is also rich and precise. The result is an exhibition that offers space for wonder and active imagination, where unexpected materials and forms create a space for discovery and fascination. www.stroom.nl/stroom-algemeen/activiteiten/positions-gut-feeling Group

2025Master Apprentice Project Casco Leuven, Belgium Becoming Between Between is a meeting in the in-between, a space where human presence and materiality intertwine and reshape one another. Here, metal coils like a muscle flexing, paint peels like shedding skin, and textiles drift like breath through a room. What once seemed solid reveals itself as porous; what appeared still begins to shift. It is a landscape where nothing is fixed, and everything exists in a state of becoming. In recent months, five interdisciplinary artists have delved into what connects them: a shared fascination with the potential and limits of materials, the interplay between control and chance, and the ways objects, bodies, and spaces respond to each other. Master: Wessel Verrijt Apprentices: Bob de Bell, Tijn Gerards, Pauline Ymkje Meijer & Lili Struik kunstpodium-t.com/agenda/a-m-6-2 Group

2025Tiny Art Gallery OSTRA Practice Lisbon, Portugal 975 is the name of the show happening at OSTRA practice. This time Ostra welcomes Tiny Art Gallery, a conceptual art space focused on small scale artworks (the name says it all), from the Hague, Netherlands. The show relocates Ostra, inside itself, prepared to host someone else. Using the idea of different scales, Ostra disguises itself as a panorama, for Tiny Art Gallery to present itself, with a vast list of national and international artists. 975 stands for the maximum measurements allowed for each artwork: 9x7x5 centimetres. www.ostrapractice.com/2025/975xtinyartgallery Group
