infoNode.feedback is a web-app artwork revolving around the notion of collectivity: visitors use their smart device to enter an audiovisual digital space. This environment is build up out of ever evolving visuals that respond to the tilting the device and hear a binaural interactive sound environment through headphones. Visitors place a circle in the digital space by tapping the screen, and are able to merge their circle with other visitors, forming larger circles that react in size and colour to the level of collectivity in the behaviour. The behaviour of the visitors impacts the behaviour of the digital environment, which has its own logic and characteristics. The binaural flock of electromagnetic sound sources reacts to the flocking of the visitors: parameters such as average distance, deviation, speed and position all impact the behaviour and positioning of the sound. This reciprocal interaction between the human the digital questions our collective behaviour in the digital realm and the relationship between the human and non-human environments. I aim to provoke the visitors to work together in this fully abstract and digital space.

Breach dives into chaotic systems and creates a manifestation of the recent events of protests and riots across the globe. The album and live audiovisual performance explore the build up and release of tension, anger and energy in a new form of pitch black metal electronics and dense polyrhythmic structures. Utilising electromagnetic recordings of communication devices and found footage of uproars Breach establishes an intense experience by putting the beholder in the centre of a system on the verge of breaking into chaos.

Raumklang cargocollective.com/raumklang Raumklang is a location-specific sound architecture, created and explored by multiple visitors simultaneously. The installation developed by Zeno van den Broek and Robin Koek invites visitors to experience 4-dimensional objects in space, which are perceived through hearing: visitors’ perspective and auditory experience morphing constantly as they navigate their way around and through these invisible sonic objects. The work fully engages with the potential of sound, acoustics and interaction in order to move beyond the visual monopoly on architectural experience, activating visitors’ innate sense of curiosity and thereby forging deeper relationships between the visitor and the space they are in.
