My practice is based on self-organized and experimental pedagogy and is materialised through drawing, printing, and self-publishing, often presented in installations.  The concept of alterity is central to my practice and allows me to question the notion of universality, which I consider to be a simplification and often oppressive generalisation. Embracing the term “artist as a critical body”, I use my artistic practice as a tool to pose questions that lead to personal and mutual re-understanding. With my practice, I want to represent the complexity and opacity of the world, conceiving it not as simple and straightforward, but in its plurality and specificity. I believe that processes of mutual understanding are deeply connected with the way knowledge is circulated and interpreted. For this reason I work with signs, stories and objects, which I identify as traces of otherness that can be interpreted in multiple different ways.
