On going performance over the duration of 5 days of the KABK Graduation Festival in which I cooked the classic Russian cabbage soup "schi" for all the visitors of the Festival and offered it for free. I wanted to feed everyone as was concerned that in these kind of festival / fair situation what you really want is a cosy place to eat gather and have good food, to not get overwhelmed, a space for rest, replenishment and encounter.

Stories in the Cabbage Shed Can classic literature nourish plants the same way it nourishes human minds? Can plant souls be equally moved by the powerful emotions Literature evokes? Anastasia Loginova proposes to find out by reading Lev Tolstoj to a plant audience. In previous performances she read Tolstoj's Anna Karenina to plants in the Leiden Hortus. For this second reading session at Mediamatic, she is curious to find out if a connection to cabbages turns out just as nice. Her reading sessions may also be extended to the public and pets.

2017Communicating with Trees: research by student Anastasia TV AD Amsterdam, Netherlands www.ad.nl/binnenland/bomenknuffelaar-ik-wil-vrienden-worden-met-de-bomen~vabda277d/ Student Anastasia Loginova reads books to plants. Loginova started this weekend with the project 'communicating with plants' in the botanical garden of Leiden. The student of the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague is participating in a study to see how plants communicate, move and respond. Besides reading aloud, she loves to cuddle trees. Anastasia feels good energies, love and tranquility in trees. The AD came to make a short film about my project.
