Work made for the exhibition "Onvoltooide tijd" - autumn 2020 Unfinished tense is time that you have experienced while it is not yet finished. It is not a will, but a testimony to a point somewhere in between. You look back, learn from it and continue with this. For this group exhibition participants were asked to go back to their childhood and reflect on their development as an artist since then.

Site specific installation made for exhibition “Anders Bekeken” - Museum Swaensteyn in Voorburg. For the exhibition ‘Anders Bekeken’ at Museum Swaensteyn in Voorburg, artists respond to the Museum's permanent collection. One hall in the museum is the Princess Marianne room, Princess Marianne of Orange is the youngest daughter of King Willem I, the princess has lived in Voorburg for a number of years and has meant a lot to this municipality. She had an eventful and progressive life, perhaps financially easy, that was certainly not the case emotionally. She chose love even though the price was high. Her life inspired me to make a heaven(s)bed [four-poster bed] with the title "Life is no bed of roses". Under a sky of porcelain roses and on a bed of thorns. Furthermore, as transparent as possible so that the portrait on the wall of Princess Marianne's beloved Johannes remained visible. A four-poster bed where your fantasy is stimulated and you can let your own imagination continue to speak. Photo: Anke v.d. Berg

Installation made for exhibition ‘get “things” off our chests’ - curated by Margarita Leonenko To get (something) off one's chest is an act of sharing, confessing or relieving one's mind. It is an opportunity to talk about something worrying, to let go of neglect. It is an invitation to discuss something private, to pay attention to a character or an unknown nature. (porcelain-writing) handwritten porcelain
