Whether I am painting people, plants, or animals, I consider all of my work to be a form of portraiture. Through the use of oil paint, I love to capture my subjects with brushstrokes of colour that attempt to layer their essence upon the canvas. With my paintings I showcase a character at a particular moment in time, preserving them in a perpetual bloom before they wilt, grey, or lose their baby teeth.

Mountain High River Flow Orchid Ensemble and the Flicker Arts Collaboratory I was an illustrator on a project that combined animation, innovative software and traditional chinese music.
