It happens that I eat ice cream at the beach.

My practice is rooted in storytelling and takes form through writing, installation and painting. With a playful and whimsical approach, I aim to spark a sense of wonder I often associate with my inner child. I remember as a child I was told stories to fall asleep to. I got told stories that made me reflect on the small and big things. Sometimes I even got told stories just for the fun of it. Every time I got told a story as a kid, there was an adult who also had to immerse themselves in the story being told. For me a good story is a story that evokes curiosity in both adults and kids. A story that transforms something that might seem boring and simple to interesting and maybe even spectacular.
