2024Lateral Roots Melfabriek Art Space 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands ‘LATERAL ROOTS’ is a collective exhibition made by Ecology Future (MIVC) year two students. It features plural topics, rooted in loose soil as the lateral roots that nurture autonomously. Listen to your belly, submerge yourself into the phantom of the trees, wait for the response from the seaweed, and tailor an ecological, cultural, and historical mesh between one and another. kunstruimtedemelkfabriek.home.blog/2024/01/07/st-joost/ Group

Manifesting in Your Tone Salzburg Summer Academy Salzburg, Austria Manifesting in Your Tone started by seeking alternative eco-critic perspectives of a philosophy thought experiment: "If a tree falls in a forest, no one is around to hear it, does it still make a sound? Wu examined Aigner Park, which is located at the edge of Salzburg through field recordings, field notes, photogrammetry, etc. Does a tree that has potentially fallen deep in the forest since before 2018 make a sound, and does it need someone to be around and hear it? A superstorm that not even Austrian weather experts predicted swooped in last Saturday night. Wu, who was deep in the forest, witnessed the collapse of a tree. On the other side of the city, when Wu tried to return to the "save harbor" along the river, the road was covered with tree limbs. People had to be entangled with the fallen tree. The hiss of the trees wrapped around our ears. It was not a murder, it was a manifesto, the sound of the fallen tree.

Lying On the Flip Side of the Boat Werkendam, Netherlands Lying on the Flip Side of the Boat offers an synthetic sensorial experience to the everyday people, aims to evoke direct awareness and resonance with aquatic species. Beyond and beneath the center of our vision, neglected and damaging interventions are taking place. This spatial work, mainly through direct physical means and sound installations, simulates the dynamics of water and the tension of noise brought by engines and motors. Through this sensorial approach, the unfortunate encounters of aquatic creatures are transposed into human terms. When a storm is coming, we will have no way to escape, and neither will they. Although we will never be able to fully penetrate the real experience of these aquatic species , nor reconfigure it to an equivalent human experience, I still hope to open up possibilities for imagination, questioning and discussion through my subjective transformation.

Vibration From the Neglected Perspective Eye Film Museum 's- Hertogenbosch, Netherlands Driven by my own ethnic identity of working and living in Europe, I resonated with the pigeons and tried to 'become' a pigeon as a method of observing this community that out of our visual center, pursuing pigeon flocks in the squares, stations, forests, and outskirts of 's-Hertogenbosch. From this neglected perspective, the habitat of a specific species and the complex intertwined relationship with humans is investigated. Under this amplification of marginal voices and immersion, my practice aims to evoke a sort of constant awareness.
