infoFor 24 hours Huiskamer van de Kunstenaar was open to visitors during day- and nighttime. This experimental exhibition was a temporary and changing space in which the guests were involved in the domestic rituals of the space. In a relaxed and social environment people could, for example, have dinner with us, watch performances, and there was room for dialogue and contemplation.

I prefer to live without a clock; In a timeless state without stress or needs. And while I concentrate on the silence within myself, I behold how the world rumbles around me.
As I’m descending from the void, slowly returning to earth, I find myself in my studio in The Hague. The sun starts to shine on holographic materials and a colorful light play appears. Stocked shelves contain an array of paint tubes resembling the colors of the sky. And when the night falls, glow in the dark pigments loom in the darkness. While time passes and the world continues to spin, the image appears on the canvas.
