My work delves into the deep ties between identity, memory, and the cycles of transformation, influenced by the landscapes of Sardinia and my Dutch upbringing. Through performance, sound, and installation, I reinterpret ancestral rituals, centering on themes of loss, renewal, and the strength of communal bonds. Drawing inspiration from the songs of my grandmother, my practice reflects the enduring connection between land, tradition, and the feminine spirit. I seek to create immersive spaces where past and present merge, highlighting the resilience of natural and human ecosystems.
