WE ARE ON A ROAD TO NOWHERE” We increasingly see the world as a mechanism: as a cold set of natural laws that work without further intentions, but just is. Every time that something can be scientifically explained the world loses a little magic. If humans become as explanatory as the world around us, man is just something that happens to be. The sun comes up and goes down, the wind blows from the North and then again from the South. You are born and then you die. Never is there anything new. By searching as many distractions as possible we prevent deeper thoughts about life. Standing still is something that takes guts. Maybe we should not consider the concept of ‘ meaningful ‘ as ‘leading somewhere, or having a goal’. Maybe something only makes sense if it elevates man, if it rises above the daily routine.
