Photography and especially making photo books for me is a way to visualize a process: To retain and share experiences, memories and stories.
In some of my projects I reuse pictures from my archive, or I work with photographs created by others to create a (new) concept. In my work I get inspired by reality and most of my autonomous projects are related to the theme privacy.

2019Visitar la memoria Zaragoza City Council Zaragoza, Spain This exhibition project presented by Rick Hekman and Alejandra Franch offers a visual place for the interpretation of memory. A meeting place where collective memory and image come together. Working with series of slides from various municipal archives and with local artists slides projects, we reflect on the way we look, understand and build our memories. The work from Jos van de Geer and me was brought together in the exhibition called ‘7 HOOGtij’. For this exhibition Jos created a new piece of art work with my ‘7 Hoog’ photobook.
