"Mijn foto's en video's zijn afbeeldingen van buitengewone gebeurtenissen
en toch vaak van momenten die nauwelijks lijken plaats te vinden.
Deze situaties zijn te vinden in de vluchtige realiteit van het dagelijks leven dat ons omringt.
In mijn werk mijd ik het ensceneren, het leven zelf is vaak al 'onwerkelijk' genoeg zoals het is. Het zijn pogingen om betekenis te vinden zonder vastomlijnde, vooropgezette ideeën of rationele agenda's, maar om zo open mogelijk in het moment van zijn te zijn en te 'vinden' wat zich ontvouwt ... balancerend op de grens van iets en niets."
