Theatre of Wrong Decisions can be briefly described as a fusion of visual arts and theatre. It manifests itself in short video productions critically responding to highly controversial and sensitive issues in today’s world. The video clips are closely linked to similar situations in Shakespeare’s plays. By using Shakespearean quotes the participants of ToWD are putting current issues of moral concern into a universal perspective.

Voor het gebouw stond een kunstwerk van beeldend kunstenaar Auke de Vries uit Den Haag. Het CBS is inmiddels verhuisd en het gebouw is gesloopt. Op die plek is een nieuwe woonwijk gebouwd, Park070. 2023Men of Steel THFF Den Haag, Netherlands Mannen van Staal The Binckhorst is a business and industrial site on the outskirts of The Hague. The area had been waiting for a metamorphosis for more than a decade. The municipality of The Hague had big plans for the Binckhorst. The master plan from 2006 with 7,000 homes, 200,000 m2 of office space and a large city park turned out to be far too ambitious. Partly due to the economic crisis, the project developers withdrew and the plan was cancelled. From 2011, the municipality of The Hague focused on organic growth. The construction of the Rotterdamsebaan was an established fact. Now The Binckhorst is being redeveloped as a pilot project under the new Environmental Act that is planned for the Netherlands. This new Act makes way for mixed-use development, safeguarding existing businesses and the constriction of 500 homes approx. But contrary to earlier promises companies are being bought out. To make way for up to 10,000 new homes. In "Mannen van Staal" we follow Jachtwerf de Haas, a characteristic family business, established in the Binckhorst since 1925. How do they deal with all the small and large changes within this characteristic area of The Hague? Tradition versus progress, identity versus transition? In the end, a dramatic event will turn their lives completely upside down.
