My work is raw and powerful
My paintings and woodcuts are about vulnerability of buildings that have been erected by man, buildings that collapse, are demolished or destroyed. My work displays the power of nature, which overgrows any decay. The topic is destruction as well as arising of new life in nature. It is the reality that threatens us daily, the challenge of excisting. Presently l am painting the power of nature.
l live in The Hague.
