Visual poetry
Pim Piët: "In mijn recente schilderijen is de taal (het woord) onderdeel geworden van het schilderij, zoals ook kleur, vorm, structuur en compositie. De taal maakt deel uit van het schilderkunstig proces. De schilderijen zijn een zoektocht naar een vorm van visuele poëzie en bespiegeling, waarbij ik uitga van een bepaald idee en het schilderij zich vanaf dat punt ontwikkelt. Doordat de taal consequent in het werk aanwezig is, zijn de letter (woorden) zowel 'taal' als beeld en spelen zo een dubbelrol in het werk. Het 'woord' is taal en beeld ineen en creeërt daarmee een 'nieuwe' vorm in ons bewustzijn". De laatste jaren ontstaan er samenwerkings-projecten met o.a. Anna Mikhailova.
Waarbij o.a. 'Sound' onderdeel wordt van het werk en er meer installatie achtige werken / projecten ontstaan. (zie website)
