Hidden beauty of nature
My work is a quest for the hidden, deeper beauty of nature, humans, old age, abandoned places, skies. I work in these with varying media: painting, graphical techniques, photography and film. I find myself continuously in search for new techniques and materials. Larger specific projects are: 'Blind Windows, Reflections of landscapes in caravan windows' (2010-2023); '100x100. Portraits of 100 centenarians (2007); Photography in public space (eg. Catharina Hospital, Eindhoven)' (2013); 'Michezo, Children playing with waste materials in Africa' (1980).
