"Circadian Silence" in collaboration with the scientist and visual artist Nathalie Launay (Andorra). "Circadian Silence invites us to listen to the invisible rhythm that unfolds within every living being — a time that breathes inside our cells, beyond clocks, measures, and productivity. The work is composed from genetic sequence of the CLOCK gene, one of the master regulators of circadian rhythm — the molecular clock that governs the alternation of day and night, wakefulness and rest. Its se- quence becomes a musical architecture, a transcription of life’s inner temporality. When the gene speaks — through its exons, the coding fragments of DNA — sound emerges: presence, vibration, action. Each passage of sound is shaped in codons, triads of tones echoing the triplets of nucleotides through which living matter translates itself into proteins. Between these active zones lie the introns — once thought to be empty. Here, silence is inhabited by traces of the biological world: a heartbeat, a breath, a voice, frag- ments of the body’s own memory. The piece unfolds as a continuous respiration of sound and pause, code and body — a meditation on the invisible cycles that sustain life.

Brightened and underlined in their so-called uselessness by cool blue light. Yet if someone wants to see and understand it as reality. The video works by Johannes Gerard are short meditative essays filmed in the spirit of minimalist Eastern aesthetics. In the frame, the artist adds, removes, and rearranges simple objects: stones, twigs, a flag, a pot plant, as if in search of the perfect composition. The light contrasts with the dark, static with movement, time with space. Perhaps we are simply witnessing a game whose rules remain unknown to us? In any case, as the artist states in the title of one of the works, "Nothing will stay as it is."

ĀBOLOŠANA SERDE Aizpute, Latvia Upon invitation from SERDE a Latvian non goverment culture and hertiage association, in the first half of September 2024. It is an interdisciplinary project again, this time on the theme of time and harvest. The project was implemented in conjunction with the Appel Culture Festival. I created a site-specific video, a site-specific installation and presented a revision of my performance “The Plant”. I created two spite specific works and presented an existing live performance adapted to the site. The two site specific works include the video work “Ornaments of the Empty Times in Autumn”.

16. International Workshop Week “Dignity No Lugar Lüben, Germany For ten days, 18 artists from seven nations stayed in the village of Lüben (today part of the town of Wittingen)/ The artists working in the fields of painting, drawing, photography, video and installation. During Workshop week I created two installations (Land Art) "9048 - Courage, Wisdom, Compassion" and "9049 - Between Heaven and Earth" in the public space of the village. Worked on pupils day one afternoon with two 11 years old pupils. During the final presentation days on 8th and 9th of July 2023 I performed three time a new live performance called "The Plant" . The concept approach towards the theme of Dignity is based on buddhist and Zen philosophy, but at the same time containing autobiographical elements. Therefor the installation work and the performance reflect the theme in a more metaphorical and symbolic style rather then in a direct manner.

2023Pedvale Art Park Sabile , Latvia During the whole month of May 2023 I was engaged with a new interdisciplinary project at Pedvale Art Park in Sabile, Latvia. The red flag indicates my projects have reached the finish line at Pedvale and the point of the presentation.The overall project is simply named "Pevale" after the location of Pedvale. Within a month I created a land art installation called "9047" or ("A place between mountains") and gave a live performance called "Stones" with the integration of the land art installation. In addition, a video work entitled "Structure & Pattern" was created. I also experimented with the sound, still life and video performance. Finally, I conducted a workshop on the subject of "social sculpture". However, this interdisciplinary project differs from all larger projects that have emerged in recent years. It is still an interdisciplinary project consisting of several elements.
